September in Europe: GNIZDO at the MultiGP European Championship and silver in the UK
News · 6 October 2026
GNIZDO spent September 2026 at two major events back to back — in Germany and in the United Kingdom.
AICHTAL, GERMANY: MULTIGP EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP
On September 11–13, near Stuttgart, the Aircrasher and Bavarian Multirotor clubs hosted the MultiGP European Championship 2026: 108 pilots from 25 countries. The programme included night qualifying through lit gates — one of the toughest sessions of the season.
Seven GNIZDO pilots raced: CRUSH (Oleksii Samutin), Receiver (Oleksii Lakovych), Word1N (Vladyslav Popov), Oleksandr Mazur, kimi_lhy, KEMFPV and Rego (Danylo Bielik). The European title went to Minjae Kim (Korea), second place to Killian Rousseau (France), third to Yuki Hashimoto (Japan).
UNITED KINGDOM: SILVER ON DEBUT
Straight after Germany, on September 14–18, the team travelled to the UK for an international drone racing tournament: 24 teams from 12 countries. It was Ukraine's first appearance — and it came home with team silver in drone racing, second only to Australia.
In the individual final, Word1N finished 3rd and Receiver 4th.
WHAT'S NEXT
Two events back to back mean daily flights, night sessions and repairs between heats. That experience goes into pilot training and into the timing and judging system we are building: every gate, every lap recorded, not judged by eye.
Thank you to our partners and to everyone who made these trips possible.
