Team Gnizdo Participated in the Ukrainian Technological Sports Cup
Team Gnizdo took part in the Ukrainian Technological Sports Cup — one of the largest national tournaments in the field of FPV and modern technological disciplines, organized with the support of the Technological Sports Federation of Ukraine and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine. The event brought together more than 300 pilots and operators from across the country.
Our team represented the drone racing discipline — high-speed FPV racing, which today is considered one of the most dynamic and technologically advanced sports in Ukraine.
Team Gnizdo was created as a union of pilots, engineers, and FPV technology enthusiasts who aim to develop drone racing, promote technical sports, and shape a new culture of modern technological competitions. The team captain is Oleksandr Sasin.
The team roster was formed through the selection of the most talented and highly motivated pilots who regularly train both in professional simulators and on real racing tracks. Although the team has been training together for only three months, we have managed to build a well-coordinated squad with a high level of preparation and sporting discipline.
Our main goal at this year’s Cup was not only to achieve strong competitive results, but also to promote FPV sports among young people and the technological community of Ukraine.
“Our primary focus this year was to deliver the strongest possible performance in the drone racing category, win top places, and inspire other participants to get involved in FPV sports,” the team stated.
One of the most challenging stages of preparation was finding a suitable location for training with 5-inch racing drones, which require significant space and safe conditions for high-speed flights.
In drone racing, success depends not only on the pilot’s skills but also on precise technical tuning of the equipment. For a racing FPV drone, the most critical factors are the drone’s weight, motor thrust, and individual parameter adjustments tailored to each pilot’s flying style.
We are proud that Team Gnizdo stands out through professional preparation, strong teamwork, and a clear focus on results. For us, victory is not only about winning prizes, but also about advancing technological sports, supporting the Ukrainian FPV community, and promoting drone racing in Ukraine.
